In late 2025, CLR reported six new wells on a single pad in Crazy Man Creek -- the Bud / Alfsvaag wells.
On that pad, three Bud wells run north; three Alfsvaag wells run south.
On September 19, 2025, the reader received a check for the first three Bud / Alfsvaag wells. That check only covered initial production from the following wells:
- 41013, Alf #6
- 41019, Bud #6
- 41023, Bud #8
Today, September 29, 2025, the reader received the customary monthly check from CLR, which included the three additional Bud / Alfsvaag wells which were not included in the first check, received September 19, 2025.
All six wells are now accounted for:
- 41022, CLR, Alfsvaag #8
- 41020, CLR, Alfsvaag #7
- 41021, CLR, Bud #7
Oil royalties in the most recent check covered the following months:
- 41023, CLR, Bud #8: one month only for both oil and gas: August, 2025, for oil; July, 2025, for natural gas
- 41022, CLR, Alfsvaag #8: five months for oil: April, 2025 - August, 2025; four months for natural gas
- 41013, CLR, Alfsvaag #6: same as Bud #8, one month only, August, 2025, for both oil and gas;
- 41020, CLR, Alfsvaag #7: four months for oil: May, 2025 - August, 2025; three months for natural gas
- 41019, CLR, Bud #6: one month for oil, August, 2025; one month for natural gas, July, 2025
- 41021, CLR, Bud #7: five months for oil, April, 2025 - August, 2025; four months for natural gas;
The six new CLR Alfsvaag wells and Bud wells in Crazy Man Creek and initial production once these wells started producing.

The impact of the six new Bud / Alfsvaag wells:
Of the selected wells the reader has, total production had dropped to less than 12,000 bbls of oil per month, just a few months ago. Two months after these six new wells were producing, the total production of the reader's CLR wells surged to almost 352,000 bbls of oil per month:
