Updates
January 16, 2024: reader sent note that she / he had received offer for mineral acres in section 18-154-103, Round Prairie, see map below. Offer: $2,625 / acre.
Original Post
1. A Tucker parcel: https://readerswells.blogspot.com/2019/08/tucker-parcel-1060.html. Stars represent sections in which "Tucker" has minerals.
2. Today, six wells came off confidential list (DUCs), including three Grayson Mill wells. One well caught my eye:
3. Not one of those three wells is "primarily" in a "Tucker" drilling unit. However, the "XE" signifies a section line well, and that horizontal abuts a "Tucker" drilling unit.
4. The permit confirms that NDIC #39756 includes Tucker minerals:
5. The next two screenshots are for #39756. One is a Scout Ticket; one is for production history. Specifics do not matter but some may be interested in seeing these two screenshots.
6. This well won't mount to a hill of beans with regard to $$$$. The production will be relatively small and the well is in an overlapping 6-section drilling unit, unlike the usual 2-section drilling units in the Bakken. In other words, if a typical 2-section well in the Bakken generated $120 / month for the owner, a well in a six-section unit will generate $40 / month (????).
7. But Tucker can add another well to his / her list of wells.
8. The following spreadsheet needs to be updated, but it includes production from the two wells in which Tucker already participates: #19478 (Round Prairie 10-1819H) and #19927 (Short Prairie 8-1224H).
9. If you want to drive out to see this new three-well pad, get on US Highway 2 and head west to Montana. Just four miles (or thereabouts) before you get to the Montana state line, walk or drive about four miles to the north. Good luck.
10. I often make typographical and content errors. The reader may want to go through this post closely and see if there are errors.
