December 7, 2025: rig on pad?
- I was surprised this date to see a rig on this site. I thought these four wells had already been drilled to depth, and on top of that, they come off confidential list, March, 2026. See below. But lo and behold, not the rig on #40058. All four wells remain on confidential list, no change, and no production data. None of the wells in the area are off line except for #19008:
- 19008, Devon Energy, Brakken 30-31 1H, Catwalk, t12/10; cum 314K 10/25; off line since 2/25.

Updates
November 8, 2025: it appears CLR has drilled to depth the four new Brakken FIU wells in Catwalk/Last Chance. Link here.
The very first Brakken well was taken off line February, 2025, and was off line for several months. It just went back on line in September, 2025. The original Brakken well, #19008, is updated here. That means the four new wells have been completed, they've been fracked, and are producing oil, based on how the Bakken usually works. That means, there should be several months of production when the wells come off confidential list in March, 2025.It's possible, but unlikely, that CLR has not yet fracked the wells, just drilled them, but I think they've been fracked and completed and are producing.
September 17, 2025: CLR starting to drill.

March 2, 2024: the reader might start to see production from these four wells in late 2024. A four-well pad is now confidential. I assume that means CLR has started work on these wells. These wells are sited far south of the section where the reader has mineral rights but I think the horizontals will run north, 1920-acre spacing, to end in the section in which the reader has minerals: NENW section 30-154-100.
